Perfect for mom and daughter crafts!
My 7 year old daughter and I had tried to craft with another paper flower set: and had had little success. We decided to give a kit another go and I went with this, as it had the Martha Stewart name.The tissue papers were pre-cut, and the kit included floral wire and tape as well as detailed instructions. We were able to make the entire kit in about 45 minutes working together, and the flowers we made looked just as lovely as the ones in the product picture!I did have to help my daughter "fluff" the flowers, but she quickly caught onto the idea. This was a wonderful set, and looks beautiful when done!

LOVE These! A Great Hit with Kids and Mom

Giant Paper fFowers
Absolutely wonderful project...the same one I had as a child growing up in the late 60's early 70's. I orignally bought this to do with my 5 1/2 year old and dscovered it's a little to difficult for that age, but have enjoyed the hell out of doing it myself. Fab colors and endless hours of fun for ADULTS as well as children.

Not that great...
Okay, so, tissue paper is thin to begin with ... but the paper included with this item is extra thin and constantly rips. Very frustrating. We've wasted more paper than made flowers. Ended up buying our own tissue paper to use with the other included supplies.

NOT for the under 8 year set!
I'd seen the reviews both here and elsewhere that younger childrencould easily create this and decided to try it out with my five year old.While I do agree that in the end,the flowers are very cute,the process togetting there is well,VERY annoying.- If you don't properly line up the paperwhen folding,it is practically impossible to stretch out.(NOTE:five year oldsare not great at lining up paper perfectly!)- If you don't slowly and VERY carefully pull the paper apart to "fluff"the flower,the paper rips and it is a disaster. (NOTE: five year olds arenot good at "carefully" and "slowly" pulling multiple pieces of thin paperapart!)-If you don't follow the directions,or understand them,you're going to havea very blue little one and it does take a bit of patience to figure out at first.The words like "fluff" do not really easily tell me what I am supposed to do.In the end,if you have a...
