Fits me just fine and seems to be worth the money
I needed a pair of chef's pants for conducting food demos and these seemed like a good place to start. They are not perfect but I am glad that I purchased them. I wear 38x34 slacks and I ordered the XL - they fit just like they should, both in the waist and the length. These are also pretty loose and comfortable where they need to be. The feel (or "hand") is not the greatest; the material is a little stiff and doesn't have the nice, soft feel of 100% natural fabrics. Yes, they can pick up lint when washed with light colored materials, so care should taken when laundering. These would be fine for working in the back of a kitchen or for a busboy, but if I were a server in a nice restaurant I would go with something more expensive. I will probably buy a better pair next, but I am happy with these for what they cost.

No frills, functional chefware
That's a fair assessment of these pants. No frills, functional chefware. They are comfortable, but not the most comfortable pants ever made. They are durable. They fit nicely, but are loose enough to function properly in a kitchen setting. Basic, no frills pants.
